Seb Fallenbuchl

Sebastian (Seb) Fallenbuchl is a co-founder of Pluvo, the Decision Intelligence Platform that's democratizing enterprise-grade financial planning for mid-market companies and enterprises.
A biomedical mechanical engineer by training (University of Ottawa), Seb made an unconventional leap. He started by design artificial organs and prosthetics, with no interest in tech, and found himself building one of Canada's fastest-growing fintech companies. It has achieved 447% year-over-year revenue growth while serving 60+ CFOs managing strategic decisions.
At 25, Seb walked into rooms full of ex-Google engineers, ex-NASA scientists, and exited serial entrepreneurs—and held his own. Today, Pluvo is backed by Andreesen Horowitz’s a16z speedrun (one of Silicon Valley's premier accelerators) and was recognized as the Best Ottawa Business in 2023 and 2024, transforming how resource-constrained finance teams make billion-dollar decisions without armies of consultants.
He is proud to be based in Ottawa, Canada, where he founded the non-profit WeSkate+ to make skateboarding more accessible in communities across Eastern Ontario. He also led research at the University of Ottawa into the use of technology in public finance. He frequently travels to technology hubs like Silicon Valley, where Pluvo’s innovations have been welcomed with open arms.
